Safe to say the rut is pretty much over when you have that many does and nothing harassing them.

Slow morning. All evening hunts have been great this week.

That’s gonna be it for the river bottom for a few weeks.
Unless Bryce decides to hunt before he heads back to Sam Houston.

We’ll have Thanksgiving here at the house tonight and then I’ll be heading to Uvalde with Summer & T in the morning.
We’ll be live tomorrow evening in South Texas, so hang in there with me.

Half way stop to Uvalde doesn’t get any better than at a Buc-ee’s.
Hoping to be on the stand by 3:00.

We are late, but we are set up.
Dad-gum traffic was worse than I though it would be on I10.

Senderos are corned and we are in the stand.

Pull cards in the feeder pens and we’ve got a few mature 8’s that are target bucks.

We’ve got till Saturday at dark to get something on the ground. So stick with us. I’ll keep it as live as possible!
