Default Got my Axis back

Well its been approx. 10mo, and have been anticipating it. I am very impressed how it turned out, antlers lost a little width after being freeze dried.
I lost right at 1inch, when I killed it the spread was 28 and a 1/4.

Looks awesome. I have an axis in velvet on my wall and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Looks very similar to the one I got in April. Light colored and in velvet just like that. I’m getting the same mount too. Looks good! Can’t wait to get mine back.

If you knew the spread was 28 1/4" why couldn't the taxidermist mount it with the same spread?

Congrats on your buck

Congrats on your buck
Thanks Guys"
I did not anticipate/question if there was going to be any shrinkage/issues when my Taxi told me he was going to have them freeze dried. I'm not going to sweat it, it still looks awesome, I will say this.... I have eaten a lot of Elk, Mule Deer, and White Tail meat, and this one is by far been the best tasting.
