    What firearm (or bow) did you get your first deer with?

    Mine was a .410 with a slug. Killed a doe sometime around 1983

            Browning BLR 308...a schpike circa 1979 and yes the gun is pointed in a bad direction thanks..

                          SAKO Forester in .243, with a blond stock. My oldest son (18) got his first deer with that rifle too at the tender age of 7. It's his now.

                          Funny thing. Got a plain-Jane 4x Leupold on that rifle and it hasn't been touched since 1986. Still dead-on.
