I don't do snakes. I was grabbing the saw horses right before rains and was moving quick to get them under porch. Nearly walked on top of it. 2nd rattlesnake I've ever seen in this area in past 35 years. Just so happens both were within past 3 years. I'm prescribing burning if we can't get this hay cut.

Well @ Church this AM I was talking with a fellow Believer. He wants to go pig hunting. My landowner said it was ok to bring him on the property so tonight after Church we're going pig hunting.
It's time to start getting ready. Water bottles to fill,. Hairs to load, bug spray to pack, shooting sticks to grab.

Well I saw eyes low to the ground under the feeder. It took off and didn't come back. My best guess it was a coon that has been shot at in the past.

It took off before he could see it.

We did lots of talking so that might have contributed to our lack of success. Still had a great time.

I'm out in the fields again. Haven't been here since Thursday when I killed a hog so I don't know what to expect but fingers crossed I run into some hogs.

Sitting on a crossing they have been hitting daily. Killed 9 last week and 5 at this spot. They came through mid day today and should come back through this evening.
