What to do with old hard wood floor

Redoing the floor and not sure what to do the old one... can I sell it? 90% of is staying together and not splintering up. I know I could leave on the curb for the city but if someone or a company would come get it that would be nice.

It’s engineered hardwood and I’m not sure when it was put down

Hmm that looks like my 2 1/4” natural red oak I reclaimed and installed. Which could be resold if it has much “life” left in it. If it’s been sanded over and over then it’s great kindling

But if it’s engineered, it’s for sure firewood IMO.

It may be old to you but it is not "old"

Post it on Nextdoor or Craigs, someone will take it. I am looking for light colored to match a section in my house.

Engineered means it's laminated together like plywood. Not really very "old".

I will take it, if you decide to throw it away.

I’m setting it out on the curb this afternoon. If you can be here this afternoon I don’t mind at all. I’ll shoot you a pm
