Probably not... It'll have a little shine, but it makes your colors pop

I'd buy a can and spray something that you have around the house to see if you like it first.

Krylon makes a matte finish clear coat. Like them 2 guns but you should have made a step by step info on it.

make sure yall start by covering the entire gun with the lightest color, then cover less with the next darkest, even more with the next...ect until you use very little with your darkest color
