Man, he had some great songs. I saw Mark Chesnutt at Dosey Do's....Mark spoke highly of Joe and said they were close friends. Mark also said that alot of country music singers back in the day had to step their game up when Diffie broke into the scene.....he had alot of number ones. Sad deal.
