    Webb County Live Season 2018

Since there is no bow hunting allowed at our lease in Webb County, I’m just now starting this thread. After all the rains we’ve had down here it’s super green and the roads are still a bit muddy. I topped off feeders yesterday and pulled cameras, we have some culls to kill this year so opening day could get western.

Some deer from last season that made it through

Love me some web county. I hunted right off I35 at mile marker 32 for a few years, and miss it big time now!

We are on cull buck patrol unless something special comes out. Should be something hitting the ground this weekend.

Top drive is ready to roll

Note to self, the top may look dry but underneath..... not so much

We sure needed the rain we got, but yes it’s golf course green down here. All of our ponds are full to the brim

That's Is a nice sunset. If it were not for those clouds I'll bet you could see the Sierra Madres

On our place in Webb County, the Buffel grass is as tall as the feeder pens, up past the headlights on our trucks!! And it grew like that in a couple weeks!! What's worse, the deer love to eat the stuff!! Worse than acorns for East Texas hunters!!

56* and we just pulled in the gate. Sure beats 90* that we had last year on opening day
