The right to vote your conscience is one of those rights and liberties, isn't it?

If the libertarian candidate wasn't such a long shot, I would say the exact same thing. However, that's not at all the climate this go around so I have to ask myself a different question.

Do I want a possible disaster, or a guaranteed attack on mine and my grandchildren's way of life? I don't know if the Donald will be a good prez, and Lord knows I don't care for the man at all. He's back pedaled on everything he's said, but I do know what Hillary has said, and done, and she's stuck to those comments that would potentially end the way of life that I enjoy, and you do too.

In 2008, democrats had enough of bush and a dark horse(pun intended) waltzed into the WH easily over the incumbent party because of the rino that was nominated. This year the tables are completely turned! Republican/conservatives are sick of the last 8 years and someone I wished would never have made it, has. The left has nominated a Dino, and if the right doesn't unite, we will have 8 more years of a socialist pushing administration and generations of Supreme Court nominees that are appointed to push that agenda.

They rallied around their candidate in 08, but we have been torn in half.

Don't vote for a major candidate.... is a vote for Hillary.
That really is the gest of it! I voted for Cruz in the primary but that option isn't available now. He lost...fair and square! End of story! Let's face it...unless Hillary or the Donald die prior to election time, ONE OF THEM and ONE OF THEM ONLY becomes the next president of the US! Period!

A vote for ANY other candidate is a wasted vote. The only issue is when you don't vote with your party's candidate it creates further division and a non Trump vote essentially is a vote for Clinton. I guess some folks just want to hold on to their "moral victory" stance. That way they can get some sort of satisfaction when they complain about things later since they didn't vote for so and so.

Some see no difference in Hilary and trump.

          It's a lose lose situation.

On edit....op link is just a silly blog post attempting to shame voters that do not support Trump.

So please vote for who feel is best, but if you're not supporting Hillary, the only other candidate with a chance of winning, why stand on the mountain screaming negatives about the GOP's nominee?

And learn who the candidates are prior.
YEP! I will not VOTE for either presidential candidate but down ballot will be rocked in the early voting as I have critters to kill in November. The down ballot needs to be strong for whatever dim-light bulb gets the Whitehouse to deflect the trash coming outta eithers platform.
It is becoming VERY apparent that we have quite a significant number of folks that don't understand the electorate process........bottom line..........if it is REALLY important PLEASE move your residency to a BATTLEGROUND STATE before the deadline. Texas has moved ever so slightly over the years but it WILL go RED............so PLEASE STOP saying not voting is a vote for Clinton...........it is not!

Thus the reason I did not acknowledge it. That person obviously does not realize that 3 states will determine the election........TEXAS aint one of them!

Really? I hate Clinton too, but what makes you think our voting rights will be taken away?

Hmm, I guess the active military isn't on board with the train. The Marines really don't seem to be liking the Donald as much.

I have not made up my mind yet, so I am not a "Nevertrumper". (By the way I think the title of this thread violates the stickie at the top of this forum related to name calling.) I will vote my conscience. If people do not vote their conscience, we will continue to be controlled by the big government R/D's. The only way anyone else becomes part of the process is by beginning to get an increasing percentage of the overall vote. It won't happen in one election, so casting your vote for the future may over weigh the risk of the current slight difference between one or the other of the two controlling parties being in power. When have the R's actually reduced the size or scope of government? With all of their use of the 2nd Amendment as a talking point, when have they actually reduced gun regulation? What have they done to actually reduce the deficit? Who started and grew the unconstitutional "Patriot Act" and the "Homeland Security" department. Anyway, I could go on, but I feel this thread was either started to stir the pot or to look for a bunch of cheerleaders, not for actual open discussion.
