Slow down there, Turbo. Think through the issue, don't just go Facebook interwebs outrage on it. There is a lot of effort and money and organization occurring to twist the facts and make law enforcement look bad. It is not a short lived effort, BLM and others have waged a CAMPAIGN against law enforcement. They have long term goals fulfilled by short term actions. Whether they are right or wrong doesn't matter, because they are effective.
So, how do you combat such a campaign? Fold your arms, declare you are right, and stick your head in the sand? Nope? Change your ways? Hell nope, especially not in this case.
I'm suggesting that you redirect, market, advertise, etc in a way that first discredits their claims. Limit then neutralize their effectiveness with a perception campaign of your own. Then re-establish a positive image through publicity such that the end game is the prevention of BS claims. And I'm not suggesting that this is targeted across the board. A large majority support law enforcement. Use that to your advantage.
Call it public relations or call it information warfare, or hell call it counter espionage it you want to be fancy. Focus the tactics on the group you need to destabilize. Happens every day in the corporate world and in politics. Basically turn the perception while not changing how officers do their job on the street. Lots of intricacies and city/state govt functions and budgets to hurdle, but very doable if it were pursued.
And remember, it's just a suggestion. [emoji6]
