I have a 2008 Honda Rancher 420. It is manual shift and has a shifter for 2wd/4wd. No electronics.
This past weekend I noticed that when I put it in reverse, it felt like something in the front wheels or the back left was dragging. The back right wheel would spin on the ground. Flat ground, dry, no extra load except my FA. I keep it in 2wd 95% of the time. I only use it at home or at the deer lease. Never in deep water or mud, rarely over foot pegs.
Wondering if it's either brakes locked on one wheel, which I've checked, or gears in back because it only does this in 2wd.
Anyone have suggestions to what to check next?
And I had just gave it a good washing a few weeks ago, not with very high pressure. Should have left it dusty.
