    Back Yard Firepit

I contacted the company this morning.. And I gotta admit, they
stepped up. They sent me back, half my money.....
    How cool is that ?

Now, my next question.. How do I fix it? Since it's made from some
kinda faux stone/fiberglass... Ya think an auto body shop might be
able to repair it? In for opnions......

Green duct tape is your answer. No need to thank me.

Don’t know what 1/2 your money amour is but to do fiberglass work and even try a paint / sculpt that to look kind close you will have a few hundred in it (not doing the work yourself)

By “stepping up” why not a full refund or just a new unit shipped?

Honestly, in the first picture it looks like a POS and the second picture just confirms it. No idea how you get it fixed. I’d chalk it up to a lesson learned and move on if you can’t get a full refund.

I would want a full refund or new one shipped at zero cost to me.

But some of the faux stone at Depot or Lowes and cut in such a way you could use the cut pc's to fill the hole a bit and use marine goop to hold it when dry paint the entire thing so it won't show.

Not sure how that is stepping up...

I agree. Would ask for full return or exchange and not put any of my time or money in repair

I would make a small pocket with tape in the back, tape the the out side then fill it with great stuff foam. Once it expands out trim it with a razor and paint to preference. I think what they did was fair (if that's what you wanted).

My wife bought a little $200 piece of furniture from there. It came in damaged. She called and asked about it and they offered a refund. When she asked about shipping it back to them, they told her to just keep it. How much can the **** thing actually cost them if they can refund the money and tell you to keep it!
