Well.... I guess it still looks like a pronghorn. I'm sorry, I hope it is just a really bad angle.

Are the horns real on the mount? They look the same kinda. Are the horns on the mount twisted at a different angle?

The whole thing looks different, cape, horns and all. Maybe there was a tag mix up at the shop?

Definitely not the same animal. The one on the right has a much darker face. Horns are similar but the prongs on the horns go up much higher on the one on the right. Hopefully it was just an honest mixup with the taxi. But just in case, who do we boycott?

Left side is twisted back. Both horns are in a more narrow and less open stance.

Good news is, the taxidermist quickly agreed to make it right. Sounds like a good dude on the phone. I'd rather not share the taxi info.

He agreed that the horns need adjusting. If I had to guess, this taxidermist doesn't see a lot of antelope.

Sorry. I know that was disappointing. My mule deer had a completely different cape when I got it back. My original buck had the coolest white face with lots of character and the Taxi did not use the original cape.He argued extensively until I showed him a pic. Then he was like well too bad dude, I have no idea where that original cape is. I was not happy but the Taxi was in Colorado, where I shot the buck, and me living in Texas, it was like pay for it and take it back or probably never see it again.

It’s the same horns but it looks like they broke the skull cap and didn’t put it back together right.

It looks like you got the same horns back but he messed up mounting them back to the skull plate. He probably did not even use the skull plate with the horn cores since they are so far off. Pronghorns are similar to a goat with an outer horn with an inner horn core.

Not the same cape. Dark hair on nose doesn’t match up. Why you so sure it’s the same? Just hard to tell from pics. Good luck on gettin by it fixed

Definitely the same horns.

I think the hair pattern on the nose matches. I'm not really worried about the cape.

Yeah, it's clearly the same horns and cape. Just really bad work. I'm guessing he broke the skull plate. Even the head/face looks wonky. Hope the taxi has the ability to clean it up.

Camera angle is deceptive then in addition to the horn positioning being completely crazy. The prongs look much longer on the mount.
