    Archery weights/measures scale- grains

    I found a scale on 3rivers from $24-$14 dollars...cheap.

    are these decent?

I'm trying to build up my own personal bowshop. Next ticket items will be an arrow saw and more fletching tools.

I haven't looked at them but I have one I used reloading and got it out the other day. I may buy a digital one.

One thing to remember with a digital scale is to let it warm up before you se it or run it through a calibration process. As the electronic components heat up it will change the displayed value. Most of these scales will turn off in short order if you leave them on with nothing setting on the scale. So I turn it on and then set the calibration weight on the scale (so it won't turn off) for about 15-20 minutes. It isn't much but I have seen a swing of 5 gr from cold to warm on my scale.

Each were about $9 each with free shipping from amazon prime. Have been accurate to every known weight, right out of the box. Have not given me any issues so far.
