Having achilles surgery next Wednesday so my goal is simple....
1. Be able to climb into my stand before the end of the season!
2. Hope that this guy is still around.
Hang out and have fun with my huntin buddies.
More huntin with my 10 year old grandson. It was his second year to hunt with me. Didnt want to shoot anything his first year. But his second year he got his first lease slam, buck, hog and turkey. I ve never been more excited than I was last year watching him grow to love and respect the outdoors.Plan on getting him started dove huntin too.
Start taking more pictures as well.
1.We just purchased a new piece of property in Mountain Home and hope to get it setup and be able to enjoy it with family and friends.
2. Go back to Illinois this season and do better than I did last year with my 174” but I’ll be happy just visiting with my brother and his wife.
Great thread. No lease this year so gonna have a feeder back home and drawn hunts if I get lucky.
1. Kill a deer
2. Kill another deer
3. Kill a deer with rifle. (I’m not a rifle hunter at all)
1. Strip my outboard down to the pistons, re-ring, reseal powerhead and re-assemble/fine tune in time for teal.
2. Kill cinnamon teal
3. Get first banded duck
4. Process a doe by myself instead of taking it to the deer processor's
Get my daughter her first hog. I keep thinking since we've got lots of hogs on our place that this would be easy. However it's something that hasn't happened yet in 3 years of her hunting.
Get both of my kids their first turkey. Our deer lease is kinda hit or miss on turkey but I do have a hunt booked in Kansas for spring turkeys. Maybe between the two places we will be able to connect.
