Got to take daughter #2 hunting for the first time this year on Sunday night. We missed youth weekend because of previous commitments.
We decided to sit the edge of a field where we've had good luck before
We was talking about calling it quits right at last light because the wind was dying down and the mosquitoes were wearing her out.
As we were picking up our chairs I spotted a doe out in the field. She got propped up on one of the chairs and made a 175 yrd shot right between the gate! We watched her go down in the field!
Couldn't be more proud. This is her 6th deer and none of them have gone more than 50-60 yrds. All the time spent at the range has paid off!
That and she had a heck of a shooting coach!! [emoji16]
My girls even like to get in on the cleaning.
Makes a father proud!!
