Drop Point / Blue Steel Knife

1095 Spring Steel Cold Blue Steel. The blade is 3 1/8 inches 1/8 in thick, the blade is 1 3/16 at the widest point 59-60 rc. overall the knife is 7 inches long. I used fabric micarta for the handle, I make my own micarta. I used six 1/8 in brass pins and one ¼ in mosaic pen. The blade is cold blued to help control rust as commonly found in high carbon steel. You can care for it just like you would any weapon that has the blue finish. I'm going to blue all my 1095 from now on, I'm very pleased with the durability. I made the sheath to look antique, it's veg tan leather, welted and double stitched. I finished the sheath with neatsfoot oil.
