Anyones kiddo got woodshop out there?

I want to buy my wife a nice cutting board, and I can't make one myself and the prices are thru the roof online, hoping a woodshopper can help me out.

Talk with the shop teacher at Poteet High School. Met him a few months back and he seems like somebody that could get you hooked up on that. Get with Antler86 also, he might have his number since that was his shop teacher.

Go to a good cooking store and buy her a Boos board. It is the best cutting board made. It is made out of a certain type of sugar maple that kills bacteria on conact. They are plain looking but every chef on the cooking channel uses one. They are not very expensive.
