    Three poachers EATEN.....ouch!!!

Now that is some serious guard cats!!!

    Jul 17, 2018
Three individuals thought to be rhino poachers were eaten by a pride of lions in a South African wildlife reserve recently.
The remains of three bodies were discovered in the Sibuya Game Reserve in South Africa’s Eastern Cape. One of the most popular game reserves in the region, it is home to the Big Five – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard as well as giraffe and zebra.
The human body parts were discovered in thick brush along with three pairs of shoes and standard poaching equipment – rifle with silencer, wire cutters and an axe which is used to remove rhino horns.
“The lions are our watchers and guardians and they picked the wrong pride and became a meal,” reserve owner Nick Fox, 60, said of the poachers, the Daily Express reported.
“Whilst we are saddened at any loss of life, the poachers came here to kill our animals and this sends out a very clear message to any other poachers that you will not always be the winner,” Fox warned.
In a statement posted Thursday on the reserve’s Facebook page, Fox said the break-in by at least three poachers occurred late Sunday night or early Monday morning.
South Africa is home to more than 80 percent of the world’s rhinos. More than 1,000 rhinos were slaughtered for their horns in the country last year.
SCI and SCIF have taken a strong stand against poaching. Working with local communities to implement conservation programs, SCIF has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to initiatives to prevent poaching.
