        I shot the only deer I have shot this year on the tail end of a good rain. I will hunt light rain but not heavy rain anymore, and only from a ground blind.

              I agree, light rain yes, heavy rain no. A good sprinkle or mist will really get the deer up and moving.

                      I hunt whenever I can, saying that I'll hunt heavy rain if inclosed though.

                        31 degrees here and raining. Debating on going out or doing some chores. Passed on a few small bucks this week, seen one shooter but no shot. Wish it would turn to snow, that would boost my enthusiasm .

                          Generally no. Don't want to risk having even a drop of blood washed away. Sometimes the difference between finding a deer and losing one, can be as little as one drop of blood.

                          Times like this are usually when I get out my muzzleloader.
