I've killed a mature buck already and am seeing several others quite regularly on camera. The acorns slowed us down a little but the early freezes really helped the bucks come back to feed. The rut will scatter them in a few weeks. It will pick up for you I'm sure. It's still early in the season!

I can't be that far from you, right off Bandera HWY on lower turtle Creek. Seeing lot of deer moving every day. Axis and whitetail. Hope yours picks up!

Been really slow in Harper.. but Thursday we stayed in the stands much longer and started seeing deer around 9:30 and they just kept coming.. No where near feeder but moving thru in full rut.

Slow up here in OK as well. All my bucks worth killing are only showing up at night and the rut isn’t as strong as I hoped it would be. Young bucks are still grouped and are following does but haven’t been pushing them hard during daylight yet.
