I was looking for a plaque for my European axis mount. I had searched for several online but nothing was really catching my eye. I liked the ones that looked like an arrowhead. Then I saw a broadhead plaque and I was hooked. The problem was it that I did not like the one I found so I decided to make my own. I started by tracing a picture of the broadhead. 
I decided the wall plate should hold the arrow and a picture of the animal before the shot so I played around and came up with this.
I thought it was starting to look like what I wanted. Next came staining and the final assembly. This is how it came out after the mount came back.
