How long can whitetail antlers stay in a freezer and still be able to have them mounted. I have a 10 point that has been in my deep freezer for 3 years. Will the antlers hold up to mounting?

Should be fine may need a new cape if It has started to burn

Antlers? The cape might need to be replaced as said above if freezer burned.

I'm pretty sure the horns are freezer burned after 3 years.

Horns are fine and as long as you rolled the cape with the face and ears in the middle it should all be fine

Thanks all. Sounds like the horns will be fine. Was worried about them being brittle. I’m planning on using a new cape.
