Great, stand up, good Christian guys can still make a mistake. Just sayin. Everyone doesn't need to keep defending him as a man. No doubt he is one of the good guys. Time will tell what he did with this deer.

Having said that, I'm not throwing any stones. If I saw that buck I'd probably shoot him with a rifle under a spotlight two months outside of deer season to put him on the ground.

I have personally witnessed a deer shot on ft hood (that must be checked in) and found the deer at least 1.5 hours after dark that was suffering shot again to kill it went to the check station told GW exactly what and how it happened and it was no big deal.. as far as "legal shooting hours" I always went with from i when I can see and make a shot till I can't see and can't make a shot.. Will wait for details on this before making my opinion if it was right or not..
