I have been meaning to post up pictures here for a few weeks now. It is a 4x8 blind with a 4x4 covered porch. For the record this is my first attempt at building a blind and am fairly new to welding as well.
This is what the first day of welding yielded.
This is a week later after I had installed the windows, door and J trim while still rough fitting the exterior to make sure it would align well with the roof. I got all my R panel and trim from Mueller in Waxahachie.
Once all the exterior walls were up I insulated the inside with some 1" foam boards.
After I finished up insulating I trimmed out the interior with 1/4" BC plywood that will get carpeted halfway up the walls as well as floor and ceiling.
And finally last night I started attaching the roof to the frame. It is unbelievable how much hotter is being up on top of this thing. Probably would have been better to do this in March/April instead of June/July but oh well. Let me know what you guys think and thanks for looking. And sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.
