Olympus 770SW. Waterproof, shock/crush proof @ 7.1mp. This camera goes everywhere with me and I'm not worried about anything hauling it around. No more fish stories without pics....CLICK....RELEASE....SMILES!

Rob, that Olympus 770SW is what I took snorkeling with me in Belieze. I had a card read error on that trip, but other than that the camera took great pictures. I have it as my pack camera now.

Pretty weird taking a camera into the water with you. But it works and is a great little camera.

Yes it is and I use that wrist strap in deep water big time. Darn camera even has an altimeter and you can turn that feature on or off. I shot some scenes in New Mexico at 7800ft and then went offshore with Drifter and got into the negative numbers when we cooled off near an oil platform.

I found myself cruising the high country snapping pics just to see how high I was LOL!

Although photos have nothing on anyone here, I've just always liked this series I took a couple years ago while visiting family in Michigan. I love the Great Lakes!

These were taken with a Canon Powershot S70

all these pictures were taken with a Kodak Z612. Unfortunaley Wildman, I have not been able to teach myself how to use the manuel controls or even what they are for, so all these pictures were taken on automatic settings.

I've taken literally thousands of pictures with a little Sony Cyber-shot camera,,,used binoculars and even a spotting scope to help out with the optical zoom. I've now upgraded from the old 2.0 mp,,,,to my new 8.1 mp with 25X optical,,,MUCH better

I am definately an idiot when it comes to taking pics. I probably don't have the patience to ever be a good photographer. However, my cheapo Olympus surprises me sometimes with how good some pics turn out. The good (or decent) ones definitely are the result of the camera and subject rather than the photographer. These are a few from a recent trip to Jackson Hole.

This is a 2.5 y/o buck that gave me many good chances for pics this year. He was in bow range on 10 or 12 hunts this year. I hope he has a chance to grow for 2 more years before he gets too smart. He is pretty photogenic. Keeping my cheapo Olympus in my backpack adds a whole new dimension to hunting for me and helps ease the sting of passing good young deer with my bow.

hardtner, that's the great thing about the point and shoots is that you don't have to worry about the noise associated with the mirror dropping out of the way.

I've been 10 yards from deer in still conditions, snapping pictures of them without them even knowing. SLR would most likely spook them.
