The Mystery Photo

I call it the Mystery Photo.

I've been going back and digitizing old photos and came across this one. What a gem. It took me a few days to remember how I acquired the thing.

It's Jacques Cousteau for you young people out there. Look him up.

The back of the photo says it was developed by Fox photo on Sat April 1977.

I was given it by a roomdog in college. How he got it I'm not really sure.

None the less it's a cool bit of history.

Who took the photo, where he was and what he was doing I have no clue but here it is.

I wonder what the fur people would say about his coat.

My Mom rode next to him on the NYC subway years ago. They had a very nice conversation.

Never missed an episode of his shows. I became a certified diver at 14 or 15 and wanted to become a marine biologist. Got accepted into TAMU coming out of high school and was going to follow in his footsteps. Ended up as a CPA with a degree from Fairbanks. Couldn't afford the out of state tuition at the time.
