Well the opened the inbound side between BW8 and 610 finally. 5 lanes !!

Which is very nice, but the outbound side is still jacked up. They are saying it will be complete by the end of the year, but I dont see it happening.

7 years since groundbreaking ceremony and counting

In the last 2 years I know I have seen or passed a minimum of 150 accidents on this road

Yeah The Gulf Freeway has been in work as long as I can remember. They finally opened up the lanes south of Hobby airport then drop 2 down near NASA 1. Just moved the bottle neck farther south. argggg.
I go out I 10 to Austin now to avoid 290.
