    Checking in after Quanah hunt....

    Great heart shots this weekend on this hog and doe. Shot from 15ft. ladder stand. The boar was 25yd shot. The doe was just underneath me, maybe 10ft from the base of the tree. You can see the hit behind the shoulder, to the side of the spine, through the heart. The hog was pretty much the same story only a farther shot. Note exit hole on the hog. Did not take a pic of the hogs heart though.
    The hog trotted about 15yds and dropped, the doe crashed after running about 30yds. Pretty quick kills!
