Project High-Lifter is almost a wrap.

The versatility of the Ranger just keeps getting better. One of my challenges was loading critters with the high seat in, so a fab fest was in order. Since I had the paint, metal and winch already on hand, the remaining parts would be minimal. The goal was to simply lift up to a large hog ~250#s. I think this set-up will certainly accomplish that. The final touches will include an LED light at the top and some minor wiring with quick disconnects.
Please note: the rack is bolted and buckled, as is the bed to the frame.

Test run complete. No problem lifting this 100# critter.

This and with critters hanging out over the bed the weight is cantilevered and can make the front end light.

Yes, I designed it specifically to fit under the step. The receiver and the wire harness are quick disconnected. Although, I may run with it in upright some.
