Best exterior color for a truck

I believe black is the most attractive, when clean, and red always has a better resale value on almost any vehicle. With resale and ascetics aside, what do you believe to be the best color for a truck.

Red has the best re-sale value? I would have never guessed that but I hate red vehicles... except maybe a red Vette.


I love my black truck but if showing scratches or being dirty bothers you then stay away.

I also like silver or white.

Ive always been a white guy. Had a few others but always came back to white until this one and i went silver just because it was the only one i could find like i wanted besides black or gold. I actually really like it. Looks decent even dirty and hides scratches pretty decent so far

Had black and hated that it showed everything. I like green for some reason, specifically guard green from ford.

Black when clean????? You talking about the 5 minutes after it is detailed out....that's about how long it takes for dirt to show up on the surface.

Almost all of my trucks have been red. My new one is white. So white is the best color...

Black. Nothing looks better when it's clean but nothing looks worse when it's dirty.

I prefer white. Seems to hide scratches better and I can’t seem to keep the exterior of my pickup clean so that doesn’t matter much to me.
