do it yourself Yetti type cooler

I wanted to pass on some info I found on youtube for improving your cooler's performance. I haven't done this modification yet, but a friend used Reflectix to cover the outside of his cooler with no result. He then moved the reflectix inside and lined the inside walls of the cooler and he said it made a big difference. I think this might have some merit. I have also been told {it is also discussed on the Yetti site} that it is best to leave the cold water in the cooler {do not drain it}. This contradicts what this guy discusses in his video. There is also another video of a cooler comparison from 5 different popular coolers. It was neat to see how my Coleman Extreme coolers {that I use} performed as well as the yetti cooler and costs 1/4 as much.
