Live Hunt in West Texas through Wednesday

Headed to Rochester, TX. North of Haskell and West of Throckmorton. Bow hunt only of course. Looking for a solid Great Texas Eight, but also hoping to tempt my budget with something bigger. Hunting with Roger Roewe of Roewe Outfitters and Webfoot Connection.
Leaving the house in 20 mins for the short 4-5 hr drive with fellow TBH'er.
Will hunt this PM through Wednesday AM.

Ok guys. I've failed to manage expectations correctly. Looks like a cell tower is out or something because cell service is non existent where it was normally adequate in previous visits.

Saw nada this PM. The guide and my hunting buddy saw a 140" buck after dropping me off which is encouraging. Tomorrow we will set the same spots Am and then place lock ons in what little timber there is to hunt this whopper. Attached is a pic of of my set. A pop up on the edge of a 100 acre wheat field. Wind gusts of 35 mph keep the deer laid low. .

Nada this AM. Both of us have relocated. Buddy in a kick butt pop brushed in really well on the edge if scattered trees a pasture and large wheat field. I'm in a lone wolf lock on at the edge of a smaller wheat field. I'm right on the trail so it's going to be close quarters. Winds have settled to just about 10 mph gusts. Our guide saw bucks fighting at my spot this AM and yesterdat he saw two good bucks where my buddy is now. I have 1 bar of cell service at this spot. Big win already .
