Default HHA King Pin Sight Light options? Other than Blue Burst

I have the huge Blue Burst dong light on my sight. Not real happy with it, but may keep it on the pin housing.

I also want to put a light on my sight tape, but don't want the 2" tall Blue Burst or need the gooberish rheostat either.

Anybody use a different light on their HHA that has the same thread pitch?

Ya, I know it looks stupid too! But Its the only option I found right now.

I have same set up. What is it that you don't like? Size? Placement? Just curious

If that threaded base separates from the light you can buy a truglo universal one that has a rheostat and multiple thread size bases that will screw in

As far as the sight tape, I don't know

CBE rheostats fit and work perfect.
Simple, half the size, and adjusts the brightness just by turning the single knob.

I just knew the truglo came with optional thread choices

Glad you found something that would work
The rheostat control is nice, does not take much light to get your pin where you can see it but not be overpowering

The CBE knob is the rheostat. Starts off dim and gets brighter as you turn it. Pretty cool. Gradually, no clicks.

Pic makes in appear brighter than it is! Turning the single knob gradually increases the brightness.
There is a very small detent on the off setting, so you'll just have to make sure it is off. Very happy with it, so I'll see how they hold up.

Ordered one. Should be here tomorrow or Tuesday. Will take the awkward looking black stem light off the HHA...ASAP
