Default Genesis Bow with release?

I have a Genesis now for my daughter. Can I tie a d-loop on it and have her use a release to get used to using a release, or is that a bad idea since it doesnít have a back wall to draw against?

Tie it in and have her draw to her anchor point, shouldn't be any different than fingers.
