Stud 8!!

I'm hunting a blind that hasn't been hunted this year or fed much at all this evening and it's slow, finally closed one of the windows so the dang wind wouldn't hit me in the face anymore

I saw to 1.5 year old bucks fighting hard this afternoon. I've never seen two bucks that young get after it like that. They were both chasing the does harder than anything I've seen so far. Had a big 10 come walking out and just paid nothing any attention.

Corn is filed up at my feeders in Kingsville.
No deer even on the game cams at night.
Didn't go this morning to let the place rest a bit.
No sign on HWY 141. Drove it this morning.

It's been a slow season for me too except for that monster Aoudad I shot two weeks ago. I'm here sitting at a different blind just to see if something comes out but so far zero movement.

I have over 100 mourning dove cleaning out the corn by the sendero, I just wish a falcon will interrupt their buffet. No deer movement up to this point.

Had a nice 4.5 nine pointer in the sendero but he got a pass this season from me, hopefully the neighbors do the same. I just shot a bobcat that was slowly moving along the brush line. Predator control for me this afternoon. No mature bucks encounters so far this season.

I saw one Wednesday morning in Frio county.. Pretty dang cool. I've seen 5 or 6 in the last 14 years there.

I've been hunting here for 6 or 7 years steady and off and on for 20 years and never seen one. This year I've seen 3 or 4 and they come to the feeder just like deer[emoji23]
