I'm voting for Trump because he has a set and he stands up for the American people, the American dream. He was willing to lay it all out there when he saw the need knowing few others (if any) than him could get the job done and was a patriot that answered the call.
So yeah, I'm voting for Trump and I'm **** proud to do so.

Could not have said it better myself, and I'll wager that some significant portion of those pulling the lever for Trump feel the same way.

Hahaha, nobody questioning your vote for Trump is going to stand around while you rant...hell I am all for Trump and had you started in on that, I would have walked away.

Anyways, glad you are voting for Trump.

Rich Lowry put it well in an editorial in this morning's National Review - opening paragraph:

"If Donald Trump wins a second term, it will be an unmistakable countercultural statement in a year when progressives have otherwise worked their will across the culture. After months and months of statues toppling and riots in American cities and a crime wave and woke virtue-signaling from professional sports leagues and absurd firings and cancellations, the year would end with a stunning, stark rebuke of all of that.

If Trump manages to pull off a win, it will be a gigantic middle finger directed at the commanding heights of American culture."

This is what I pray happens. From all the excitement and ralies by Trump and the lack of enthusiasm by Demorats, the skyrocketing purchasing of guns and ammo, I just really do not see how the polls are even close to right.
Nobody wants to defend Biden or say why he would be better than Trump, they all attack Trump. To me that is the only thing they do.
Like Trump has said, he has done more good for the country in 47 months than Biden has done in 47 years.

I voted for TRUMP because I really like the man, I like what he has done and I look forward to what he will do in the next four years. I am not scared to declare that Trump is the best president since George Washington. Neither one of these two were politicians.

Ive pretty much wrapped up this election for myself mentally and am staying away from politics until after the election. (with the slight exception to this forum here the there).

I have 2 set of eyes and half a decent brain to see the overwhelming massive support for Trump ...more support from so many different walks of life than I have ever seen for any other president in my lifetime. The same to eyes have seen the weakest support for any potential president in my lifetime with Biden and Kamala. I am done with polls, media, conspiracy theories, etc etc. I voted and I believe Trump will win from what I personally am witnessing.
Trump 2020. Peace Out!

How specifically do you mean a vote for Trump is a vote for the 2nd?

Ironman I like what you tried to do there however I am voting for President Trump again because of lower taxes, the ability for our country to be energy independent (1.57 for diesel), MUCH less regulation, his support of our police, his apparent love for our country, his willingness to leave a great life and be harassed day after day by clowns in the media and on the streets, while I could go on I assume you get the picture. My uncle was a college grad engineer and his coal plant that he worked at was shut down by the previous administration, I hardly see American companies going under because of President Trumps regulations.

Why is every pro-Trump conservative's response to an issues question, "look at Biden?"

I want to know how a fellow 2A voter sees Trump's position on the issue, because it is important to me.

well it's kinda like this; every time we give an inch they want a mile.

sure; no one wants a crazy *** with a weapon or the ability to buy one.

the problem is who gets to determine who is a crazy *** and how do they determine this? I for one don't want some crazy M.F. running around with a weapon; but i'll be the first one there with my 'Assault Weapons' to stop him.

I would say right now is not the time to attack Trump on gun control issues, especially when Biden is way worse than Trump.

And the simple fact is before Las Vegas, 99.9% of people had no idea what a bump stock was. I bet as of today, 99.7% of people still don't know what they are.

My point is, yes banning them is wrong, but in the grand scheme, no one used them anyways. Again, doesn't make banning them right, but it's just not a big issue. And yes, I recognize the slippy slope it is of unilaterally banning them. I will look the other way until November 4.

Gun rights have expanded as a whole and so has 1st time gun ownership. I think to say not going after Trump right now is off base to begin with especially if you are basing it on bump stocks. If it isn't bump stocks that y'all are talking about, then what is it?
Red flag laws aren't something I believe Trump would get behind as there is already a process to deal with issues that are supposedly corrective under red flag laws.

I see it as he's neutral or leaning towards the left. If Congress came up with a gun control bill, he'd sign it.

We already saw the bump stock thing. And I haven't seen anything to make me think he's pushing to repeal current gun laws.

Do any of you guys really think Trump has a deeply held, well thought-out opinion on the 2nd and gun rights? That is, other than he knows it’s important to many who support him? My guess is asking him to expound on the topic would get you as far as asking him to explain particle physics or existential philosophy. I’ll take it of course, given the alternative.

Bump stock - Pure BS Trump stepped in it with that one.

Red Flag Laws - Nope he needs to drop that entirely. He hasn稚 even mentioned it in some time. I think he may have realized his error there.

Current AR brace BS - he needs to nip that in the bud

My only other beef with him is his lack of getting the debt/deficit under control.

No one used them for what? Crime? Other than the Vegas shooting I agree. Otherwise I can稚 quite a specific number off the top of my head but there were a lot out there.

Red Flag Laws - Nope he needs to drop that entirely. He hasn稚 even mentioned it in some time. I think he may have realized his error there.

Current AR brace BS - he needs to nip that in the bud

My only other beef with him is his lack of getting the debt/deficit under control.
