    False. Every buck gets 4 mass measurements per side. Number of points is irrelevant.

      For quick scoring just count the UP tines.
      Take your deers left side, I'd say 3-7-10 =20 up, right side 2-4-8=14 up, total 34up
      For the core score just use average numbers. This is what we use.
      Main beams 20 each x2=40
      Mass 5, 4.5, 4. x2=27
      Spread. =18
      Ups=34
      Total. =119+-

      8 points use 25 up.
      Use 25 up on your deer 25-25 = 50, then core 40-27-18=85 total 135, no doubt shooter 8.

      The more you look at deer you will know when the deers core score is higher immediatly. Then you know you really need to get interested.




      You get 4 mass measurements on an eight pt as well. You only can by 4 mass measurements on any buck, even if he is a 7x7, you only get 4 mass measurements. I think the buck will make 130
      You forgot a mass measurement also.
