We all know there are a few mt lions in Texas. One gets shot every once in a while, I'm hoping this is a mt lion but I'm thinking bobcat unless pics prove other wise.

Well meow, what do we have here????

We had a resident bobcat that would do that same thing if we ever had to leave a deer overnight. Although cougars will do that as well I'm told. Hopefully your camera will identify the true culprit.

                Confirmed this
I’ve hunted Palo Pinto county for 15+ years & this Mtn Lion was spotted twice on our property right about 10 years ago

We have a "resident" Female Bobact that has been hanging around our cleaning station since the beginning of Bow Season. She covers the carcass in grass, dirt, then comes back a day or so later and eats. We have watched her covering it in broad daylight.

Of course nobody had any pictures to back up the claims lol. I am curious to see if he gets anything on his camera. I am betting bobcat if it comes back at all.
My dad, uncle, dads friend & I saw one on a pond near Agnes about 25 years ago. Absolutely no doubt in our minds it was a Mt. Lion.
