Best guess as well. I'm not sure if they have Savage parts. Man, they fabbed up a bolt for a Lawton action and it took about a year and a half. Success has its consequences.
Dave is a great guy but priorities have changed.

I have to ask.......what happened to the one that came with it from the factory?
When changing bolts, you might have headspace issues. I would contact Savage and they should be able to give you an answer and even supply a new one.

For Remington, PT&G for sure. You might check them for Savage parts also. Or Brownells. If not, as others have suggested, call Savage.

The problem with buying the bolt only is a head space issue, not as important as a CF but still important as a RF head spaces at the rim

It won't eject the shell and I can't figure out why.

Contact Savage
You may have another problem more than just the bolt.

Replacing your ejector, got 5 bucks says it's either bent or broken. It's definitely not the bolt. While you are replacing parts do your extractors

Clean the chamber really well also and its **** near guaranteed to fix the problem.
You have the headspace issue, and bolts are not cheap.
