    I bought a dozen axis does a couple of weeks ago
    I checked my cameras an found a picture of a baby
    Seems strange to have them born this late in the year
    Do axis bingo year round?

              The little ones are VERY tender!

                It is very rare that you kill an axis doe and she is not pregnant (with twins). And if she's not prego, then she prolley has one sucking. All year round

                              Once you get a sustainable herd of Axis, then you will be hard pressed to find a doe that is not either in heat or pregnant. With them breeding year round, it is just a double-edged sword.

                              I think you just figure out when you want to do it, and do it. With Axis, you just cull them out.
