Pls help age houston county buck..

I could use some help aging this deer. I passed on him a couple weeks ago. He is 13" but i thought he only looked 2.5 when i saw him. After 10 years i still havent shot a buck with my bow but i didnt want to shoot a 2.5 yr old. My 14 yr old daughter hasnt killed a deer yet and i thought about lettin her shoot him but im on the fence...sorry for bad pic. Only one i have of him right now.

I don't think age matters in your case.
Fwiw, my guess is 3.5
