Gas or Electric Smoker?

Getting a smoker. Already have a stick burner so save the comments! Is a gas or electric smoker better?

I have had both and prefer electric. More consistent and less worrisome.
My electric is remote control and digital.

I got an electric for Christmas and love it. It's my first one and there is no real babysitting that it needed.

Electric. Get a Masterbuilt and add the cold smoke attachment to it.

My dad runs pellets in his not wood chips and it works great.

Have you looked at pellet smoker? Just another option that probably gets you closer to a stick smoker flavor, but the gas/electric ease.
Full disclosure, I don't have a pellet, but a nice stick smoker I am looking to maybe switch with a pellet.

smoke whole chickens, a turkey breast, and some chicken legs in it so far..
All turned out great... Very easy to use...
