Thanks. That's stabilized antler. I was skeptical about how the customer wanted it done, but I love the way it turned out. He wanted me to texture it the way I had done some bloodwood handles on some other knives. Here's a closer look.

4-1/2" blade
Desert Ironwood scales

Far right:

4" over all
Afzalia scales

I have the Damascus to make another one, but I don't have the mammoth tooth. If it's the mammoth tooth you're interested in, I can see if I can find some. Otherwise, I have some pretty desert ironwood that would look great on it. There are other options as well.
