What a good tv now days?

I’ve had the same 60” DLP tv for about 9 years. Tonight it bit the dust! I haven’t researched tv in years. Does anyone know what to look for now days or stay away from? Has anyone purchased a tv lately that they are just tickled pink with they can recommend? Looking for a 65”. Thanks!

Assuming your build popped, you can get a new one and swap it in less than five minutes.

Sony's are nice. I have those and LG's are nice as well.

Samsung is the best TV wise, Sony for projectors.
Some of the newer Sharps are pretty sharp, but Samsung sets the bar in the current market.

TCL is probably the best value for the $. Check reviews online ...

Get the warranty extended if u go samsung. Just had 2 8k series poop the bed. They're just over a yr old. Not real happy. Both went within a month of each other.

Samsung, LG, Vizio are brands I shop when looking at TVs. Have LGs and Vizios in my house and have no complaints.

What if the OP has a no limit budget ? Why restrict him to price when maybe he wants the top of the line OLED ?

$1000 will buy you an average, middle of the road 65” TV based on current prices and specs

I’ve got a 65” curved Samsung and have been very pleased with it. The curve isn’t necessary but a cool feature.
