This one probably does not fit their agenda. They are not covering it as much as the ones in the past.

Good guy with a gun probably stopped things from getting way worse in a gun control state and the crazy guy probably did not have an AR.

      From MSN website:

      THE LATEST:
March 20 (Reuters) - A student who shot and critically wounded two fellow students at a Maryland high school on Tuesday morning, has died after exchanging gunfire with a campus security officer, the county sheriff said.
The school day had barely begun when the student, who has not been identified, shot a male student and a female student at Great Mills High School in St. Mary's County before the campus security officer intervened, county Sheriff Timothy Cameron told NBC's Washington affiliate.
The two victims were in critical condition at hospitals.
The officer was not harmed, and the public school's roughly 1,600 students were later escorted off campus by police, classroom by classroom, to reunite with their parents at another high school.

I heard he "neutralized" the guy so I assume he was armed.

Gun control or laws is not the intention of any movement right now.. it has no basis... the intention is the removal of guns period... nothing else.. no laws other than the ones that will lead to the removal of guns..and making gun ownership illegal.... that is the end game... period.

These terrible incidents feed this manic reaction, which in turn feeds the media which in turn feeds more terrible incidents because the noterity a lot of the individuals that perform these acts are looking for... be famous..
its a vicious cycle being perpetuated by idiots, emotional cause seekers, and politicians... with an engine in their back pockets called the media, twitter, and facebook.

The NRA better ****ing get steadfast on not giving an inch in any ****ing direction on this...and force the real issues to be addressed.. otherwise the 2nd amendment becomes null, and with it....a lot of other rights these fools have no idea they are about to lose.

people attending the NRA conference better be asking the hard questions, and demanding real answers and hold them accountable for any future positions they decide to take.

Tragic situation, but at least an armed employee (SRO in this case) was able to stop the suspect before more folks were shot/killed. I am a public school Principal and would love to be able to carry on campus.

Yep, been watching it. Prayers for the badly injured students in this. Glad the idiot student was neutralized quickly and efficiently!

Local school boards make policy decisions. It has been discussed in the past but so far ours has not moved that direction.

I'm sure the liberals and lefts are all scratching their heads on what to do now....since this state has all the gun laws they are pushing for that they think will solve all the problems.

How about that. An armed officer present at the school, was able to stop this pretty much immediately. Seems to makes sense.

Man I hate to hear that, but I am happy that they appeared to have a competent SRO who was willing to engage the student. Whether or not the SRO shot the perp or the perp committed suicide the bottom line is the good guy with a gun stopped the bad guy with the gun.

Thank goodness we have 3 police officers on our campus everyday.

That's why there's only 2 injured people..you know, because of their strict gun laws.... If this happened anywhere else there would be 4,376,421 dead people
