Best Hog Bait

I am looking for proven and best Hog Bait that you have used.

I was recently told by pigsticker that they'll go crazy over diesel-soaked corn. Never seen it though and I'm very skeptical.

Yes, they definitely do. We dig a hole with a post hole digger, fill it with corn and pour diesel over. They will leave nothing but a crater if you let them.

I've tried it all and corn works just fine out of the bag. For me anyway

just plain corn + hand thrown = pigs

insert carbon shafts or hot lead into the equation and you end up with dead pigs.

Get an old piece of carpet. Secure it to a tree or telephone pole. Spray it down with diesel. They will come scratch their itches. Pig pipes with corn.

we usually soak a rag in diesel the hang it from the top of the trap
