I got a dove!

Well, I got one today. First time I ever tried my luck at one and after about 15 attempts....pluck!!! Its a hit!!
Unfortunately, the hit was behind to where the dove still managed to fly into the neighbors ranch on its way down.
I did not recover the bird, but had a couple of people that witnessed it.
No pics to show...but it still feels so good. I was very excited, to say the least.
I'll get another one before too long.

My wife does not hunt or has ever shot a bow, but she was sitting at the porch and said it looked like I was having such a good time that it made her want to shoot a bow. Especially when I started jumping up and down when I got that one bird.
Funny thing is that my 4 year old was next to me and when I started jumping and I asked him for a "high five"..He goes: "Dad, you hit it but you didn't catch it...Why would you want for me to give you five?"<-----He'll get there. hahaha

I didn't loose any.
Flu-flu's are your friends.
The spiral stops the arrow way faster that a regular 4 fletch.
Look into it... Its a lot of fun.
