    String damage

I just had my bow fall off of the wall. One of the cables has a nick in it. Should I be concerned? I was debating on taking it to shop to get checked but what yall think? How much is too bad?

The strings are still new with less than 200 shots also...

I would take it in for sure and at least have it checked out.

Yes, please have your shop look at it.

If the nick cuts a strand than it needs to be replaced for sure. If not you may or may not need to replace it. Not worth taking a chance on. If in doubt, replace it.

Get yourself one of these also. Great for protecting your strings and cables.

When in doubt, swap it out. A new cable is cheap insurance

Cheaper to replace a string or cables than both and limbs. Better safe than sorry.

I had something similar happen to me, and since I'm new in the Fort Worth area I'm looking for somewhere to replace my cable and strings. Any one know where they do quality work?
