Girlfriend is a National Campaign Director for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, LLS. Great organization that funds research ultimately benefiting more than simply blood cancers. Take a look at LLS' Light the Night Walk in San Antonio. It's a great family friendly event and you realize quickly we are not alone in our journey.

My daughter had leukemia, diagnosed at 3 and now 11, and is a survivior. I've lived it.
